Ko Miang is the second largest island among 9 islands after Similan. It is where the office of the National Park is located. The island offers a scenic beach which is suitable for camping.

By bus: Take daily bus services from Bangkok to Phang-nga, with 12- hour traveling time
By train: Take a train from Bangkok and Surat Thani and then ride a bus for another 2 hours (no direct train service to Phang-Nga)
By air: Take Bangkok-Phuket flights and then take a bus or rent a car from Phuket to Phang-Nga for about 58 km
