Ko Bulan South Thailand

This is a group of islands in the Phetra Islands National Park. Ko Bulon Le is also known as the “Pearl of the Andaman”.

Location

Located 22 km from Pak Bara Pier, Satun

Direction

By bus: Take a bus from Bangkok to Satun, originating from the Southern Bus Terminal and taking about 13 hours
By train: Take a Bangkok-Hat Yai train, leaving the Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lamphong), get off at the Hat Yai train station, then take a taxi from Ratthakan Post Office to Satun (no direct train to Satun)
By airTake a flight to Hat Yai airport and then take a taxi or public bus to Satun for 97 km (no direct flight to Satun)

Highlights

Flourishes with large and small colorful exotic corals and species of fish such as tiger fish, starfish
Shady casuarina lined white sandy beaches, crystal clear navy blue waters, and the charming and hospitable way of life of the Chao Le inhabitants
Hermit crabs and smaller crabs, populated the beach at night
