Phu Chong Na Yoi was declared as a national park on June 1, 1987. It covers an area of 687 square km over mountainous areas in Ubon Ratchathani. This park is where borders of Thailand, Laos and Cambodia meet.
Location
Buntharik, Na Chaluai and Nam Yuen districts in Ubon Ratchathani
Direction
By car: From Ubonratchathani, take Highway No. 24 to the south to Det Udon, continue on Highway No. 2182 to Buntharik, turn right into Highway No.2248, after passing Na Chaluai take a dirt road to the left, which will take you 8 kilometers to the park headquarters
By bus: Take a bus from Mochi 2 station (Northeastern Route), which is available daily
By train: Take a train from Hualumpong station or Bangsue station on Bangkok-Ubon Ratchatani route, which is available daily
By air: Take a daily flight from Bangkok to Ubon RatchataniHighlights
The 40-meter Bak Tew Yai waterfall, which is located approximately 4 km from the park office, rock formations at Phlan Yaw and a group of springs in the forest at Bo Nam Sap
