Phra That Phanom

It is the most important Buddhist site. It has a 53-meter tall square-shaped pagoda which was believed to be built before the 12^th century.

By bus: Take a bus Bangkok-Nakhon Panom route, which departsd from Mochit 2 station everyday

Highlights

The pagoda, which is believed to have originally been of Khmer design but has been renovated through the years to its present Laotian design with a 110-kilogram solid gold spire on top of the pagoda, enshrining the holy relics of the Lord Buddha
