This is the first museum of its kind in Thailand and is the one out of seven in the world. It exhibits a collection approximately 800,000 pieces of petrified wood which is about 320 million years old.

184 Mu 7, Ban Krok Duean Ha, Mittraphap – Nong Pling Road, Suranari, Nakorn Ratchasima
Direction
By car: Take Highway No. 304 (Nakorn Ratchasima – Pak Thong Chai Road) for 16 kilometers, turn right at Km. 121 into the Suranari University of Technology (Gate 2) for 2 kilometers and turn left into the Mittraphap – Nong Pling city bypass for another 1 kilometer
By train: Take a train from Hualumpong station, Bangkok- Nakorn Ratchasima route, available everyday
By bus: Take a bus at Mochit 2 station (Northeastern Route) to Nakorn Ratchasima, which departs everyday
