Kaeng Tana National Park

Kaeng Tana was declared as the 31^st National Park of Thailand on 13th July 1981. The general landscape is highland with small hill, and is passed by Mun and Khong rivers.

Direction

By car: Take Highway No. 2222, where visitors will be presented with a beautiful view of Kaeng Tana.
By bus: Take a bus from Mochi 2 station (Northeastern Route), which is available daily
By train: Take a train from Hualumpong station or Bangsue station on Bangkok-Ubon Ratchatani route, which is available daily
By air: Take a daily flight from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchatani

Highlights

Kaeng Tana (Tana Rapid), a sandstone rapid in the middle of Mun river in lower Don Tana
Rak Sai waterfall, with the water flow over the cliff through the banyan roots, resembling a curtain wall
Kaeng Kan Hew with a kilometer long, 300 meters wide stone range on the Mun river
Don Tana, the 460 meters wide and 700 meters long soil and rock prominence that is covered by dry evergreen and teak forest and separates Mun river into two
