One of the most important temples of the North, Wat Phra That Hariphunchai was built during the reign of King Arthitayarat some 800 years ago.

By car: From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 and Highway No. 32 to Nakhon Sawan via Sing Buri, Chai Nat, then turn into Highway No. 11 and proceed to Lamphun (Total distance is 670 Kilometers)
By bus: Depart for Lamphun at Bangkok Bus Terminal daily
By train: Depart from Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Lampang daily
