Ban Ja Bo community has undergone several relocations. The current residents of Ban Ja Bo are Lahu and Meo and peoples who migrated from Huay Yao. The villagers still speak Lahu dialect, and wear Lahu ethnic attire. Ban Mae La Na is another fertile area with abundance of wildlife. This area also has plenty of resources that are suitable for human settlement and agriculture. The majority of Mae La Na’s population is Shan migrated from Burma. They speak Shan dialect and wear Shan attire.
