On top of the beautiful landscape and natural resources, the Central is also full of historical and cultural fascination, such as ancient temples and the unique way of life by the river. On the west of the Central region is the border to Myanmar, with forested mountains and waterfall as the scenery, where as the East Coast of Thailand is connected to the border of Cambodia. The 400-kilometer coastline of the upper Gulf of Thailand presents some of the finest beaches and loveliest islands in Asia. People who seek a quiet holiday would find the beaches and islands on the east coast a perfect holiday destination.
