Prachuap Khiri Khan occupies the sleek land bridge linking Central Thailand to the southern peninsula. It has a fishing port with a superb location besides beautiful curving bays. It is amongst the steep mountain outcrops. To the North of Prachuap Khiri Khan is Hua Hin, which is about 100 km from it, is the oldest beach resort of the country. It has the honor of being the first beach resort of Thailand where the Royal family has a summer palace named Klai Kangwon. A cluster of royal and high-society residences gradually became more visible, resulting in the transformation of the whole village into the first seaside resort of the country. Here visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, and golfing in the country’s first standard golf course. The white sand, clear water and a tranquil atmosphere has continued to attract tourists who are in search of peaceful and relaxing holidays.
Ratchaburi
Located on the banks of river Mae Klong is a province named Ratchaburi is famous for its water jars. Abound with natural and historical attractions; it has some well preserved temples. Wat Phra Si Ratana Mahathat features some decorative plaster designs that retain much of their original beauty.
Wat Khao Wang was originally built as a residence for King Chulalongkorn, and is later turned into a temple on a hill overlooking the town. Most visitors stop by to enjoy Damnoen Saduak Floating Market which is one of the most-photographed sights in Thailand.
