Nakhon Nayok is famous for its refreshing natural beauty includes immaculate waterfalls, lush parks, renowned historical sites, soft adventure activities, and variety of fruits. The Northern part of the province is located in the Dong Phaya Yen mountain range; an area covered by the Khao Yai National Park looks spectacular during rainy season. The prominent ancient structure, which is the landmark of Nakhon Pathom, is Phra Pathom Chedi. It is a great pagoda that signifies the arrival of Buddhism in this part of the world. Other places of interest include Buddha Monthon, a large park dedicated to the promotion of Buddhism , the Rose Garden a resort popular for its extensive gardens, well-presented cultural shows , Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo with daily elephant and crocodile performances. Nakhon Pathom is also renowned for its abundant fruit varieties and famous dishes.
Nonthaburi
Nonthaburi is the perfect place to observe Thai life on the Chao Phraya River. Wat Chalerm Phra Kiat is a royal temple, renowned for its design and architecture. Wat Amphawan houses a magnificent wooden scripture hall situated in a pond. There's a small village on the island famed for its Mon-style pottery. Because of the fertile soil, the province is a major producer of plants and cut flowers. A fruit fair at Nonthaburi from April to June celebrates the abundance of durian, mangosteen and mango.
