Muang Sing city was built between 857 and 1157 when the Khmer Kingdom was still prosperous. The important archeological site located in the center of the city is the Prasat Mueang Sing (Tower of the City of Lions).

On a steep bank of Khwae Noi River, Mu 1, Muang Sing, Saiyok, Kanchanaburi
Direction
By car: Take Highway No. 323 (Kanchanaburi – Thong Phaphum) for 17 kilometers., turn left via Highway No. 3455 for 9 kilometers and then another left at the junction to Muang Sing Historical Park
By train: Take train from Kanchanaburi center to Tha Kilen Railway Station and continue on foot or by local transport to Prasat Muang Sing (1.5 kilometers away)
