Bang Pa-In Summer Palace was first used by the Royal court as a summer retreat in the 17th century. However, the Palace was destroyed with the fall of Ayutthaya and was restored by King Rama IV in the mid-19th century.

Direction
By car:- Use Phahonyothin Rd (No.1), travel northward, passing Nam Phra-In Gate., then take Highway No. 32 to Ayutthaya, and turn left around Km.35 (7 kilometers) to the Palace
By Bus:- Depart from Northern Bus Terminal, and for Bang Pa-in
By train:- Take a train from Hua Lamphong Station to Bang Pa-in Station, then connect a minibus/motor tricycle to the Palace
By boat:- From Bangkok, take Chao Phraya Express from Tha Maharat - Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Craft Center - Bang Pa-In Palace

Cruise on a 25-minute Jet service, leaving Bang Pa-in Palace Pier every hour from 9.00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekends, except Wednesdays and Thursdays

Fee
Admission fee:- 100 baht. Tickets are available untill 3.00 p.m.
