Day 01: Arrival at Lucerne
Lucerne is the first destination in your tour to Traditional Eastern Switzerland. Upon arrival at the airport or Swiss border, board Second Class train to Lucerne and check in to hotel. Later leave for a city sightseeing tour covering the traditional monuments of the past and the famous Transportation Museum. Evening cruise along picturesque Lake Lucerne before retiring to the hotel for the night.
Day 02: Lucerne - Appenzell
Tour to East Switzerland today proceeds to Appenzell. Check out from hotel and embark on Voralpen Express to Sattel. Pass through Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug en route. Lunch at Rapperswil and later transfer to Toggenburg and St. Gallen, the midway stopovers for Appenzell. Board onward train to Appenzell from here and on arrival, check in to hotel. Enjoy local delicacies for dinner and stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 03: Appenzell - Chur
Morning after breakfast at hotel, check out and depart for Urnasch by train. Upon arrival, take a bus journey to Schwagalp and visit the Cheese factory here. Also enjoy a steep climb to the Santis hill perched at 2500 m height. Later, transfer by bus to Vaduz via Nesslau and Buchs. A further bus ride takes you to Chur, the next destination in Traditional Eastern Switzerland Tour. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Chur - Zurich
Morning at leisure to explore the picturesque city of Chur, a must visit in Switzerland tour packages. Later proceed to Zurich, the last stopover in Eastern Switzerland Tours. Upon arrival, spend time shopping around at Bahnhofstrasse. Enjoy a pleasant walk along Lake Zurich and retire to the hotel for night stay.
Day 05: Departure
Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to airport or Swiss border for return journey back home or to onward destination. Extension of the tour within Switzerland is also possible on request.
