Day 01: Arrival at Zurich
From Zurich, you start your enjoy Swiss Grand Alpine Tour with Jungfraujoch. Check in to Swissotel Zurich International on arrival. Remaining day at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Zurich - Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe - Interlaken
Check out from hotel after breakfast and proceed on a guided coach tour to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, as it is popularly called, being perched at nearly 11,333 ft (3,454 m) above sea level. Arrive at Lauterbrunnen where you embark on the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch passing through Kleine Scheidegg en route. Reach Jungfraujoch that boasts of being the highest railway station in Europe and visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx Observation Hall that offers panoramic views of Aletsch Glacier that is the largest in Switzerland. Swiss Grand Alpine Tour then proceeds to the city of Interlaken and upon arrival in the evening, transfer to hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Interlaken
Full day at leisure. Spend time shopping at the Höhenstrasse, the famous hub of restaurants and several designer stores for fashion, watches and jewelry. You can also choose to take a memorable motor ship or steamer cruise along the picturesque Lake of Thun. Enjoy sightseeing at Ballenberg Open-Air Museum (near Brienz). Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 04: Interlaken - Berne - Gruyeres - Geneva
Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer by road to Berne via the picturesque Lake Thun. Upon arrival, sightseeing tour of the Old Town covering the ancient Clock Tower, Kramgasse and the Cathedral of St. Vincent. Further proceed to Gruyeres, the next destination in Grand Alpine Tour Package for Switzerland. Visit its magnificent castle and the factory of milk products. Continue journey to Geneva and transfer to hotel on arrival for overnight stay.
Day 05: Geneva - Montreux - Zermatt
Leave for a post breakfast city sightseeing tour. Start with the many manicured parks along Lake Geneva and then proceed to the old town where you visit the majestic cathedral, the unique town hall and the European seat of United Nations. Later at noon, transfer by road to Lausanne and Montreux, the two must visit cities in Switzerland tours. Cross the famous 13th century Chillon Castle en route and reach Tasch via the Valais valley. Day 06: Zermatt - Nufenen Pass - Lugano
Morning at leisure. Spend time shopping or take a train tour to Gornergrat on board the cogwheel railway (optional). Enjoy panoramic views of the Alps clad in snow. Later at noon, check out from hotel and board the train to Täsch. Upon arrival, transfer to bus to continue journey to Lugano via the scenic Nufenen Pass. Check in to hotel for the night.
Day 07: Lugano - Lake Como - Maloja Pass - St. Moritz
Morning, leave for Gandria by road where you cross the border and enter Italy. Drive along the picturesque Lake Como crossing Menaggio en route and arrive at Chiavenna in the scenic Breggaglia Valley. From Castasegna, you enter into Switzerland again and ascend the 13 hairpin bends to cross over the Maloja Pass. Continue drive to St. Moritz via Lake Sils and Silvaplana and upon arrival in the evening, check in to hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Day 08: St. Moritz - Vaduz - Zurich
On the last day of Swiss Grand Alpine Tour with Jungfraujoch, we take you to the city of Zurich. Check out from hotel in the morning and depart for Davos, the capital of Vaduz, via Fluela Pass. Spend time sightseeing at the magnificent castle and later have lunch.
