1st day - Monday
(Zürich - Lucerne - Grindelwald)
We leave Zurich at 8.00 a.m.. A short drive takes us to the city of Lucerne
where we walk over the 14th century wooden bridge, time at leisure and
shopping. At noon we cross Bruenig Pass and reach the Bernese Oberland. In
the village Brienz you will see the woodcarvers at work and will visit the
woodcarver factory JOBIN. Scenic drive along deep blue Lake Brienz to the
holiday-resort of Interlaken at foot of Jungfrau mountain. Time at leisure.
A short drive will bring you to the beautifully set mountain resort
Grindelwald. Overnight in a good first class 4-star hotel, dinner on your
own.
2nd day - Tuesday
(Grindelwald - Gstaad - Gruyère - Castle Chillon - Zermatt)

We leave Grindelwald in the morning and drive along Lake Thun to direction
Gstaad. Time at leisure at the world famous ski-resort Gstaad. A steep
downhill road brings you along ringing cowbells through old farmers villages
to the city Gruyère in the french speaking part of Switzerland.
Passing by green farmland and wineyards we reach Lake Geneva. We visit the
Chillon Castle, the 13th century fortress made famous by Lord Byron's poem.
A scenic drive takes you through the region Valais, the valley of the river
Rhone with its orchards and wineyards. At Taesch we will board a cogwheel
train that takes us to the mountain-resort of Zermatt at the foot of mighty
Matterhorn. Overnight in a luxury 4-star hotel/5-course dinner included.
3rd day - Wednesday
(Zermatt - Furka Pass - Lake Lucerne - Zurich)
Morning at leisure. Admire the quaint old farmhouses and barns in there
unique style. Relax, have a walk along the many walking pads or discover the
Gornergrat on a railway ride. In early afternoon we board the train to
Taesch where our van is waiting. A breathtaking drive over a mountain passe
is awaiting us now! Driving you savely over the winding mountain road, the
driver takes you by glaciers and breathtaking waterfalls. On Furkapass you
will admire the Ice Castle in the glacier of the river Rhone. A scenic drive
along Lake Lucerne will take you back to Zurich at about at 7 p.m.
A hard winter or heavy snowfall (especially in the months April/
May/June/October) can alter the tour program
