2. Lausanne, Montreux and Chillon
This one is for the culture vultures - a day trip to Lausanne,the cultural
capital of Switzerland. There is free time to follow your heart's desire -
museums, galleries, or a stroll by the lake, the choice is all yours.
In the afternoon, visit one of Switzerland's most famous monuments - the
magnificent Castle of Chillon. This tour is seasonal and only operates from
April through to December.

Introduction :
Lausanne
is the cultural center of Switzerland, and a truly beautiful city built in
the hills . After an orientation tour you may enjoy free time either for
strolling around the Lake shore or perhaps visit the Olympic Museum. In the
afternoon, the tour will continue through the countryside of Canton of Vaud
and along the lake. Passing by the famous towns of Vevey and Montreux the
coach will take you to the Castle of Chillon, one of the most famous
monuments in Switzerland, where you will be given a guided tour. En route
back to Geneva there will be a stop at Montreux for some shopping. Then
continue the return journey through landscapes of vineyards dotting the
lakeside terraces.
