Classical Greece and Santorini Island

Duration: 11 Days / 10 Nights

DAY 1. ATHENS
This day is the starting day of your Classical Greece and Santorini Island tour, after arriving in Athens; you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our representative. Make the day rich with fun and entertainment.

DAY 2. ATHENS
Sightseeing tour to Athens which includes a visit to the Acropolis and its Museum. Pass the day at leisure.

DAY 3. ATHENS-AEGINA/POROS/ HYDRA
In the morning transfer to the pier, Trocadero, to board your journey for the full day cruise to the islands of Aegina-Poros-Hydra.

DAY 4. ATHENS / OLYMPIA
Now depart for Corinth to begin your 4-day Classical Tour. Take a short halt at the Corinth Canal. Move towards Epidarus to explore its theater, its remarkable acoustics and then on to Nauplia (short stop). Continue your journey to Mycenae and make a visit to beehive tombs and the citadel. Reach Olympia through the central Peloponnese area, passing the cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Olympia is perfect for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5. OLYMPIA / DELPHI
The real majesty of Olympia tour comes the moment you visit the ancient home of the Olympic Games and its fascinating Museum. Drive via Patras and Rion; take the new bridge to Antirion to continue to Delphi through Nafpaktos. You will be glad to get in Delphi within early evening. Take your dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6. DELPHI / METEORA
The day is for discovering the Archaeological site and the Museum of Delphi.  Also make your visit a bit sacred by visiting the temple of Apollo, later the theater, and the stadium on the mount Parnassos and then to the Museum housing some masterpieces of the Greek sculpture viz. the famous bronze statue of the "Charioteer". Meteora is next stop and thus drive through Lamia, Trikala and arrive in Kalambaka early evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Meteora.

DAY 7. METEORA / ATHENS
Visit the panoramic site of Meteora the next morning; also make your way to its two Monasteries. Drive to Athens via Thermopylae (short stop) after taking lunch. Arrive in Athens early evening. Overnight stay at Athens.

DAY 8: ATHENS/SANTORINI
Morning transfer to the port for ferry trip to Santorini. After arriving Athens transfer to your hotel for a relaxing night halt.

DAYS 9, 10: SANTORINI
Enjoy the enchantment and excitement of the sun, the unforgettable view and the most romantic sunset in the world at Santorini.

DAY 11: SANTORINI/ATHENS
End of your tour, transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens to connect to your desired international flight.
