Shenzhen has grown from a fishing village
into a metropolis in less than 25 years. In 1980, Deng Xiaoping initiated
the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone as an experiment for
promoting the development of economic and social development of China.
Shenzhen is located in the south of Guangdong Province, China. It faces Hong
Kong in the south across the Shenzhen River. Beeing the boomtown for many
years, Shenzhen now promotes itself as a Garden City.

The city's municipal transportation system consisting of public buses,
public minibus , and taxicabs.
By Road : Buses are the most economical way to get around in
Shenzhen. Most of the public buses have no ticketing agent on board and
require exact change or an IC card. Minibuses are a convenient and provide
an efficient, economical and desirable service.
These minibuses often reach streets and places that regular buses do not.
Sightseeing bus service began on October 1, 1998, extending facilities like
air-conditioning, TV, a bar and a guide service.
Taxis are also available.

China", the village is a museum of China's 55 ethnic groups with their

archway to awesome buildings of the Miao, Dong, Yao, Jingpo ethnic groups.
