China Tours
Guilin is said to be founded in 214 BC and though the town is not developed, but it is a modern, clean and organized place to spend a day exploring several smaller hills within its confines. Guilin is the ultimate destination for a small boat trip on the picturesque Li River which is flanked on both shores by limestone mountains. Most cruises last a day with lunch included and the normal end point is the small town of Yangshuo, where one can rent bicycles to ride through the countryside. Yangshuo is considered to be a better place to stay than Guilin itself.
The marvel of the limestone crags can be witnessed within Guilin itself where one can visit the Seven tar Park which has caves and a zoo featuring the exotic Pandas. All in all this is an exciting place to visit in China.
